FAQ

How Often Should I Clean My Oven?

An oven used daily typically needs to be cleaned between 3-6 months depending on what you're cooking.

What Chemicals Do You Use?

NONE! -All products used are non-caustic and plant or soap based which eliminates any harsh chemicals smells left by some cleaners.

Do You Clean Gas Ovens?

I do NOT - I only clean electric ovens.

Do you clean every part of the oven?

I will clean as much of the oven as I can,  different models and designs don't allow for all of the oven to be cleaned. I don't clean the fascia on some oven models as it can remove the indicators for the controls of the oven.

Why Should I Clean My Oven?

Fire safety

A dirty oven is at much higher risk of oven fires due to the excess grease and carbon.

Prevents health risks

Keeping the oven clean and germ-free is an easy preventative measure you can take to protect your family against any harmful germs and bacteria that build up in a dirty oven.

Better performance/ longevity

Not only will you prolong the longevity of your oven, a clean oven uses less power in order to heat up saving you money on electricity bills and will heat up faster saving you time when cooking.

Healthy and tasty food

Cooking in a dirty oven increases the risk of contaminating the food you are cooking with a piece of food and fat from other things that you have cooked in the past. This is a big problem for those who love baking as their cakes become contaminated with rich foods previously cooked in the oven.
